Working From Home...with kids

I thought that I would take a break from blogging about all of my products and such and write about working at home.

I am blessed that I have a husband that supports me working at home, then again with 3 kids and one on the way and the outrageous cost of daycare, this seemed like a more...feesible approach.

I love my kids. Really. They make life interesting and exciting. Each day is met with renewed wonder. And my renewed vow to make it thru the day without locking myself in the bathroom.

See, I came to realize that this chair that I am sitting in right now is defective. What did you expect outta a $10.00 walmart chair? you might ask. Well it isn't defective in the way you might be thinking...

You see, there seems to be this silent buzzer that goes off everytime I sit down. Because as soon as my rear even so much as grazes the seat, someone, somewhere needs something. Morgan is being attacked by her brother, Damien needs a drink or wants to watch something else, the phone rings and it is my husband wanting me to bring him his work keys. Aidan inevitably finds something to get into, whether it is the laundry basket of newly washed yet unfolded towels or a water bottle that he feels needs to be dumped on his sisters head.

By the time nap time rolls around I have undoubtly locked myself in the bathroom at least once....only to be rousted by the shrill screams of a 1 1/2 year old being mauled by her big brother...
